Crabapple Barn Weddings
Come Celebrate With Us
Due to the current Government restrictions, viewings are not possible at this time. Our office is still open, and we are happy to place a completely no-obligation hold on available dates for 2021/2022 until you have had an opportunity to view, & then to decide if we are your ideal venue, for your Wedding, BoHo Hen Party or Afternoon Tea celebration.
Please contact us to hold a date as demand is extremely high due to current bookings requesting postponement until 2021.
This crisis WILL end and your wonderful day WILL happen! We are thinking of all of you affected at this difficult time.
Our Wedding Venue is truly unique.
From 'Bluebell', our fully restored vintage caravan, hand dried flower confetti from our field, custom made wedding items and on to a truly exciting Sparkler exit - we can help make your day all you have dreamed of.
Guests can wander in the field, relax on the croquet lawn adjacent to our Edwardian house, chill out on straw bales whilst toasting marshmallows over the fire, hang out by our vibey industrial style bar or just sit by the lake and watch the stars from our pretty row boat, Swallow. You may even catch sight of rare white stags that live in the woods nearby and often visit our field.
Our beautiful Oak-framed WEDDING BARN can accommodate up to 100 seated guests, with the option of a few more friends to join you for the evening around the fire pit.
If you add in our little vintage caravan Bluebell, we can customise her as a sweetie bar, ice-cream van, cocktail bar, photo-booth backdrop or anything else you can imagine!
We also offer a whole series of 'prop' boxes, full of decorative items to hire. You can also book our venue dresser, who is happy to completely dress your venue or work alongside you - using a combination of our Crabapple barn items and your own. Contact us for more details.
Our own 'Maaker' (it's Nordic for maker-of-lovely-things) is also able to turn those Pinterest pins into reality - from large rustic items in the field to small favours and flowers.
Whilst not licensed for the legal requirements of marriage, we are able to provide a glorious backdrop for a blessing or celebration service down by the lake. Your guests can be seated on our covered straw bales, and you have a range of options to create a real entrance for both the Bride and Groom. From arriving by vintage tractor to an entrance through stunning old doors; to a chandeliers, arches and arbours in front of the water - our creative team knows no bounds!
We are also partnered with the beautiful Licensed wedding chapel just two minutes from us, if you fancy a more tradtional civil or religious service carried out by a licensed celebrant. Why not have a peak at The Chantry at www.weddingvenuesussex.co.uk, where Sue would be delighted to tell you more.
